Handmade Paintings Cabrera's Collection

My name is Margarita de la Soledad Cabrera Acosta, but everyone knows me as Kory. I was born on September 10, 1972, in Morelia, Michoacán. I spent 15 years living in Tepic, Nayarit, and now I live in Mexico City with my family, who have always been my greatest support.

My father was a painter, and although I admired him deeply, I never dared to try it myself because it seemed too difficult. However, in 2016, I began taking classes at the Jesús Reyes Heroles Cultural Center in Coyoacán with teacher Edgar Rangel. Since then, I’ve continued exploring art on my own, and I consider myself an emerging painter—because learning never really ends.
